Tomatoes do NOT taste like water balloons

Earlier this summer, I got two potted tomato plants.

Every morning they enjoyed the morning sun and fresh water over their roots.

They had a nice moss ground cover to look pretty and prevent water evaporation.

These plants were pampered and spoiled and enjoyed all the attention and admiration from me.

The neighbors were green with envy when they saw the all the round ripe tomatoes hanging off the vine.

The tomatoes were juicy and bursting with flavor. Sun-ripened to perfection.

Many tomatoes were eaten. Unfortunately, frost happened and my two tomato plants died.

These six are the last of their kind. They are doomed. No more sunny mornings. No more cool evenings. Nothing can save them now. They will turn red then disappear suddenly.
